Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our website or mobile app, we may collect your name, mobile number, OTP verification status, selected store, customer ID, pickup address, delivery address, pincode, service selection, pickup date and time, order details, pickup history, profile details, invoices, payment status, customer support requests, device/app information, and notification preferences.

For new customer registration, the app or website may ask for first name, last name, mobile number, store, address, and pincode. For existing customers, the app may show stores linked with your mobile number so you can select the correct account/store before accessing profile, orders, and pickups.

Location Permission

The Cleanodry mobile app may request access to your device location to help find your service area, nearby store, pickup address, delivery address, or directions, and to improve pickup and delivery coordination. Location access is used for service-related purposes and is not required if you prefer to type your address manually.

If you allow location access, the app may use approximate or precise location depending on your device permission settings. You can disable or change location permission any time from your device settings. Denying location permission may limit automatic address detection or nearby-store suggestions, but you can continue by entering address details manually.

Login, Session & App Security

Cleanodry uses One-Time Password (OTP) based login using supported verification channels such as WhatsApp or SMS. OTPs and access tokens are used to verify your mobile number, select the correct store/customer account, and access authenticated features such as customer profile, orders, and pickups.

The app stores authentication/session information required to keep you signed in and provide secure access to your account.

We use customer information to register and verify accounts, schedule pickups, identify the selected store, provide dry cleaning and related services, manage orders, deliver garments, process invoices and payment links, send service updates, support customers, improve our services, prevent misuse, and comply with legal or business requirements.

We may share relevant information with Cleanodry stores, pickup and delivery teams, backend service providers, payment and invoice providers, WhatsApp/SMS/email/push-notification providers, and professional or legal advisors only as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

We use trusted third-party service providers, including cloud infrastructure providers, notification providers, messaging providers, and payment providers, where required to deliver our services.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect customer information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain order and invoice records, resolve complaints, meet legal obligations, and run our business.

You can control app permissions such as location and notifications from your device settings. You may also avoid optional location access by entering your pickup or delivery address manually.

Users may contact us to update profile information, correct inaccurate information, request assistance regarding privacy, or request deletion of their account and personal information, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, and business record retention requirements.
